Hello! I am a PhD student in Public Policy at the University of Chicago. My research focuses on the causal impact of institutional decisions on sexual and gender-based violence. I study how these institutions– including criminal justice systems, media, and civil society– shape violence and the social norms that sustain it. My work uncovers the structural factors that drive perpetration, providing evidence to inform the design of scalable policies for its reduction.

I hold a Master’s in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Prior to the PhD, I worked at multilateral organizations, J-PAL and the University of Chicago in research and policy analysis roles.
